Jim and Laura Verraten are a young married couple living on the Southside Flats of Pittsburgh. Jim is a cyber security expert who knows how to keep hackers out and let himself in. While in town they stumble onto a series of strange unsolved murders that have the police puzzled. More than that, the murders seem to be ongoing. While paddling down a creek they happen upon a native American Pow Wow being held at a campground. Later, the Three Sisters Brewpub is recommended to them where a chance meeting with a turtle introduces them to a real life Tecumseh.
