After a difficult breakup and the sudden death of her father, Amina, a 27-year-old medical intern, finds herself feeling emotionally numb-alive, functional, but hollowed out. She decides to join a support group that meets every Thursday evening in a small café whose lights always flicker due to an old generator. The flickering becomes a metaphor she cannot ignore:
some lights don't stay steady, but they still shine.
