"In the early days of empty time when COVID shut down most of the world, Jean Hines sensed her husband's unease and wryly asked, 'Why don't you try to write some stories about your early life?' She felt their daughters knew little of those details. Thus, this book was conceived.
"Hines takes you on a merry-go-round ride of his stunningly wide variety of life experiences and career paths. You'll laugh out loud more than once and wonder how this small-town boy of meager means ended up living his dreams. You may be inspired by Hines' adventuresome spirit and find new paths yourself. If not, at least you'll be entertained."
- Evonne Agnello, author, Shaking Shame from Mental Illness
