Pumpkin Reynolds is enjoying success as a model, business owner and devoted wife. Then things fall apart. Despite the issues in her professional and personal life, as Thanksgiving approaches, Pumpkin dreams of her Grandma Bertie's sweet potato pie. But this year the question is, Will Pumpkin make room for an unexpected guest? Evelyn "Evie" Burkette was a spoiled teenager when she had Pumpkin. She left her newborn with her mother and never looked back. But now Evie's broke, homeless and owes a loan shark $50,000. Then she sees Pumpkin's face on a billboard and decides Thanksgiving is the perfect time to go home. Cause what Evie wants, Evie gets. And, Evie's not leaving without A PIECE OF THE PIE.
