A Perfect Word to Gift the Moon highlights the joy of wonder and the power of words for expression. The story follows a young boy at bedtime as he tries to share his gratitude for the light and magic of the moon with a gift of a perfect word. He can’t find a word that fits, so he sets out on a midnight adventure to ask woodland creatures who know the moon well to discover what the moon means to others. In the end, it is not a word that is the perfect gift but his wonder.
