Bear woke one day and opened his eyes, to a drizzle of rain and murky skies. His fur was wet, and his soles were worn. But worst of all... his patchwork heart was GONE...
Will bear find his colours again?
Created by a doctor, this book is designed to help children explore their emotions including sadness and ways to find happiness again. This is the third and final book in the series including 'The Day the Sky Went Away' and 'The Hope Seed' which have been widely recommended by paediatricians, parents, early educators, social workers, counsellors, teachers and librarians. Visit the website for matching art activities and lesson plans for schools.
Readers' Favourite 5-star review: Doreen Chombu A Patchwork of Heart is a wonderful tale for both children and adults. We all have bad days filled with gloom and sadness. This story is here to remind us that there is light at the end of the tunnel. All we need is patience and hope. I recommend parents and guardians read this book with their children and teach them the importance of being hopeful.
