Each person that becomes a Christian feels the excitement and the love that comes with the forgiveness of Jesus for their sins. With that also comes questions. How do I get a better understanding of God and grow as a Christian? How do I pray, and are there examples? In what way do I witness to others? And what about sin? How do I overcome it? What does this life really mean? A new Christian is also bombarded with confusion and doubt in many cases. How do you deal with all of this? As a new Christian, you are like a small child, and as such, you need to be taught--taught how to listen and talk with God, to know his voice, to have confidence in who you are in Christ and the blessing of your salvation. God has given you mighty promises that never fail so that you can grow. He has also supplied you with weapons you can learn to use to fight the enemy and win. This will not only strengthen your faith but bring you closer to him. A New Christian's Guide to Christianity will help give you some of the basics that will help answer these questions and more so that you understand how to start growing and become a mighty Christian. Jesus said, "A wise man builds his house upon a rock." In this guide, you will learn to develop a strong rock foundation from which to start building and grow on your own through God's Word. God never intended for this life to be difficult and his people to be burdened down. God is perfect, and his plans for you are perfect. Having the basics and solid footing, you can start seeing how truly amazing God is as he begins to work in your life.
