Since the pandemic, Zea has had a successful career as a cam model online - which they're more than happy about, because it beats doing corporate graphic design every single day. One day when scrolling their socials, they see one of the artists they follow complaining that they can't get a pose right, and offers to help. The two soon become mutuals, and an online friendship is born.
Months later, when Zea's friend asks them to come as moral support to get a piercing, Zea finds out about an opportunity to intern as a tattoo artist, a job they've dreamed of having since they were a teenager.
Meanwhile, Milo lives on the other side of the world and is content with eir life - a mediocre flat that e can at least afford alone, a tattoo studio were most of the other artists respect eir gender identity, and friends he absolutely loves. But when the owner of the studio e works for suggests Milo apply for a guest spot at a queer-owned tattoo studio in South Africa, Milo decides to challenge emself and go for it.
Except e's really not expecting to get there and realise the online friend e's been talking to and developing feelings for for months to be interning there. Can Milo work up the courage to tell Zea who e really is before Zea can figure it out on their own?
