This is the story of a boy raised during the Great Depression and how his family survived. Vernon tells of his acceptance of messages from angels as the guiding force of his life. These messages empowered him to find the love of his life, to graduate from college and to become a CPA, to raise a family, to teach at a university, and to survive many near-death situations. In addition, these messages enabled him to author a tax manual, and to travel to fifty states and forty foreign countries.
