Serving as a poetic score to the movement of life, A Melancholy Whirlwind Romance: Movement as Poetry is a poignant collection borne from the deepest depths of the human heart and the highest heights of the human ego. In these tender yet fierce poems, author Julie Godwin documents the struggles that occur between the paradigms of love, loss, grief, joy, faith and doubt.
As an expression of both the inherent beauty and inevitable suffering that exists in the world, Julie's poems will find a home in the hearts of readers who resonate with, and find healing through, words:
All those days, a life recovered
a life reclaimed
a life regifted
a life restored.
Hope is alive and well in this world.
Hope will carry us home
