This is a romantic comedy with serious moments. Don, a widowed GM retiree, has moved to his family cottage in Northern Michigan, and happily interacts with other eccentrics and...younger women. Michele, a divorced grade school teacher...of a similar age...buys a neighboring cottage as a summer home. The oddities and culture of Northern Michigan are seen through the teacher's eyes. Life and all its vicissitudes, with humor, anger, love, sex and a pinch of mischief. Family and all its trials, with active grandparents, divorced/widowed adult children and innocent, happy grandchildren. Don has an untethered life, dating younger women without commitment, eating and drinking what he wants, leaving when he wants, wearing what he wants, working in his shop when he wants. What could be better?
