An alphabet book exploring the nature of grief and the language surrounding bereavement. Artist Statement: Creating with my mind and hands, in several ways, has been a passion throughout my life. Drawing and painting people tends to be what is most fascinating. I attempt to capture not only a person's features but also their essence. Much of my work is done on a grid. This seems to satisfy the left side of my brain. There is always a desire to send a message with anything I create, which is one of the reasons I made this book. I have been on this earth for over eight decades and my intention is to never stop creating.
