ANI AMOORE was born in Cyprus to a family that had suffered the Armenian massacre in Turkey and disease in Egypt. She lost her father and mother to cancer when she was 2 and 16 respectively. Despite a traumatic childhood, she never lost her faith in the Lord and took him up as her father and guide throughout her life. This faith and her steadfast following of God's wishes through answered prayer, led her on a fabulous journey from a beautiful seaside town in Larnaca, Cyprus, to London, Edinburgh, and finally San Francisco with her beloved husband, Dr. John Amoore, world renowned chemist, whom she met when he was an officer with the British Army. Throughout her lifetime, Ani has witnessed the extraordinary power of prayer, not only for her own direction but, more importantly, in the answering of prayer for others that God brought into her life. In some cases the answer came in miraculous ways. Many people have been inspired by how God was a constant pillar of strength and guidance in her life. They felt the presence of God through the answers to prayer in their own life after Ani persuaded them to give God a chance through prayer. They would often tell Ani that their faith in God was "refreshed" or "inspired" through their experience with her and that she should write her stories down. Ani's memoirs will hopefully serve to similarly refresh and inspire others to turn to God and the power of prayer for guidance and blessings in their own lives.
