In October of 2023, after years of unexplained symptoms and inconclusive tests, author Danny E. Sledge was informed that he had a rare disease. By the time he received an official diagnosis, the disease had progressed to an advanced stage, and the average prognosis indicated that he had approximately fourteen months to live. With no cure and no rationale for his diagnosis, he was left with only questions. Who was he? Why, God, was this happening? A Journey: Fulfilling Purpose and Finding Joy Through Life-Altering Situations details Danny's journey to answering these questions, discover meaning, and connecting his life-altering situation to his true purpose.
