This personal journal through the Bible for the year 2023 represents a unique and heartfelt approach to spiritual reflection. Instead of following the traditional method of noting the Book and Chapters along with a comment on a scripture verse that resonated each day, I chose to infuse my journey with creativity and playfulness. In this journal, you'll find not just written reflections, but also silly drawings, simple narratives, and meaningful verses that capture the essence of my daily readings.
Designed with simplicity and enjoyment in mind, this journal is perfect for anyone, including those who might be new to the Bible or seeking a different perspective. It offers a brief yet insightful look at the sequence and purpose of various Bible stories and characters, aiming to illuminate God's clear and purposeful communication with us.
This is not a comprehensive study of every story or precept but rather a delightful and engaging exploration of faith. Through this journal, I hope readers will appreciate that Jesus came to offer forgiveness and that we can approach a holy God without condemnation, as expressed in Romans 8:1: "There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit."
