Crescent Isle Publishers was established by J. Clinton Morrison at Summerside, P.E.I. in 1997. Mr. Morrison's business only publishes Prince Edward Island-based content, and since its founding has published sixteen titles. One title, Chasing a Dream (2004) was a Finalist in the 2006 Prince Edward Island Book Award competition.

Crescent Isle Publisher's latest book, A Jolly Wake and Other Stories, is a remarkable and skilfully crafted memoir by an Irish pioneer to P.E.I. in 1869. It provides a fascinating look at what it was like to grow up in Canada's smallest province in the last quarter of the 19th century.
