A Farmer's Fence series is a collection of 16 enclosures (units) based on themes meant for young learners of English at the level of Grade 1. The series emphasizes conversation and has no intention to teach grammar. This is the inductive approach to learning a language. Like Love Hate Fear, Enclosures 14&15, first starts with food, meals, cooking, and tastes. It goes on to talk about what children like or dislike or fear. It touches on birthdays and Christmas, and also what children like to be when they grow up.
