A Fairy Different Life is written in verse to appeal to audiences from 1 to 100. Ideally, it is meant for children ages 5-10. The story takes the reader into the mind of a young girl who feels superior to her friends on the playground. She dislikes their differences and wishes they could all be more like her. When a fairy appears, the little girl learns what it feels like to be in the shoes of the children she has been judging. A Fairy Different Life has an anti-bullying message, but also spreads a message of diversity, in an entertaining way. The rhymes keep children interested from beginning to end. The beautiful illustrations by Regina Land set the scene as they help tell the story by author, Goob.
