Wendy got ‘addicted’ to writing after the first book, from a ‘no way I can write’ accountant to a storyteller. When the pandemic raged on, Wendy was ‘stranded’ at home like everybody else. With extra time (otherwise, spend on the road), she decided to continue her writing to quench her thirst of travelling by travelling with her keyboard and satisfying her newfound interest of writing at the same time.
She still maintains her light, storytelling style, sharing her unique travelling experiences where she takes you to the heart of Borneo Island, the less travelled northeast India of Nagaland and Assam, and to Balkans countries, seeing and feeling the impact of the wars after the breakoff from Yugoslavia had brought on them.
She also continues to share her travelling experiences along the China Silk Road, the Safaris in southern Africa and many exotic places in more details together with maps. She finds it unbelievable herself to have been to all these places when she jotted them down.
Self-publishing the book, this time, all by herself, from the book cover right to printing (for hardcopy) has also given her a different travel journey.
Her message is – if she can do it, so can you!
