Starting a family isn't always straightforward, and many families today are started with the help of fertility specialists. Nonetheless, it can be sometimes be challenging for parents to share this part of their journey with their children. A Cub Came True shares the story of Ted and Sue, a panda couple who are having trouble conceiving. A friendly penguin recommends that they go see Dr. Feathers, the Zoo's fertility doctor. With a little help and a lot of luck, Ted and Sue are able to start their family and their lives are forever changed. A Cub Come True is the perfect children's tale to introduce young children to the concept of fertility treatment. Using simple analogies and beautiful illustrations, the book is the perfect platform to start the conversation of how they came to be, with a little help from their own Dr. Feathers.
