This is a fictional story. The characters were dear close friends of mine. I am the Bob in the story. Jere and Rosemary were exactly as described. (They were real in every sense of these words.) I tell this story with these characters because I felt like I was somehow keeping them alive even though the story is entitled A Case of Twin Murders. I'll keep them alive for as long as you read the story. Jere in real life committed suicide in 1990 in Atlanta, Georgia. He hung himself in a shed in the backyard of his home. Rosemary died of cancer sometime in the year of 2000, also in Atlanta. Jere never had a twin brother.
