Humility, simplicity, and obedience- this is what He asked of me. Sometimes the darkness becomes a reality, one that cannot physically be controlled. My darkness-seizures-epilepsy. But this time, Jesus was right in front taking care of me. The darkness I thought controlled me, but it had no place with me for through His mercy, acceptance has changed me for eternity, a heart ignited with His love. And the beauty of it all is He has been right here with me, always guiding and walking with me. A new life was coming to be, one of redemption where dreams would become reality through His divine mercy and a pencil. When God gifts you a pencil, don't be afraid to use it especially when He says to share your story. For me, this would lead to a beautiful transformation of unfathomable trust, an everlasting encounter with the most Merciful Jesus, one of witness and proclamation for my story is meant to be shared openly through poetry and not hidden or locked away but for the world to read. And sometimes He offers divine assistance, one of mercy. For He is ever merciful, and His love is everlasting. The words came back to me. They were gifts-let's call them graces-and when they came, they flowed gracefully and effortlessly, touching my heart and others pending. Words of joy and laughter and forgiveness. Messages of mercy. For when He says share, share them willingly for He is the Word. The words-they were the petals of the roses, and they were red indeed. And these petals would become poetry-a combination of love and mercy to reach hearts and to help many through sincerity and honesty, to lead to an Encounter that is pending.
