A Story of Memory and Memories
From the tennis and pickleball courts of Sun City to distant memories of places once called home, 99 Characters in Search of an Author is a tender, funny, and deeply human collection of vignettes drawn from a lifetime of friendship, chance encounters, and quiet observation.
These aren't just characters—they're neighbors, companions, and reflections of us all. Once written, they step into eternity, living on forever as long as humans will tell stories and publish them.
With warmth, humility, and a sharp eye for the ordinary made meaningful, Marco Messina honors those who shaped his journey and invites readers to recognize their companions along the way.
It is a celebration of memory, memories, community, and the kind of grace inherent in a well-told life.
