Pastor Terris Green believes it is necessary to understand and accept the context and the basic purpose of the Bible before you can truly understand it. The who, what, when, why and where of the Bible, although sometimes misunderstood, are clearly written with a message that he feels is applicable to the lives of all people. In this book Pastor Green presents a simplified but in-depth look into the King James Version of each book of God's Holy Word, giving readers a simplified preview of the Bible, from Genesis to Revelation.
Pastor Green gives readers a basic understanding of what each book of the Bible is about: What is the main theme? Who are the authors or probable authors? What was the era in which the book was written? Why was the book written? A summary is included of each individual chapter or grouped chapters, along with a concluding assessment of how the message of each book relates to the lives of believers and non-believers alike. Each book ends with selected key verses. His approach is to simplify the Word of God so even children can receive and understand the message presented.
