Javier Garcia Cuesta dedicated his professional life to studying, developing, and coaching the sport of handball in his native Spain and around the world. He competed in the 1972 Olympic Games and the 1974 World Championship for Spain, before beginning a long and highly esteemed career growing and improving the game. 50 Years in the Sport is Javier's story-one full of passion for handball, along with his great mastery of the skills and strategy needed to be successful. While he accomplished much on the court, his greatest legacy will be the impact he leaves behind with players, coaches, administrators, and so many friends in the game.
