Forty Days Fast is about cultivating a heart for God through Bible reading, brief commentary, personal application, and prayer. Elite athletes understand the importance of routine in the development of skill. Physically, it trains the muscles to respond without forethought; emotionally, it removes the stress of unfamiliarity; spiritually, it emboldens belief. Routine sets them apart from the weekend warrior and enables them to soar at the highest level of competition. Forty Days Fast was designed with this principle of routine in mind. As you begin your forty days, it will aid in your spiritual journey, cultivate in you a heart for God, and reignite your relationship with God. Today is a good day to begin again.
