"And He went up on the mountain and called to Him those He Himself wanted. And they came to Him. Then He appointed twelve, that they might be with Him and that He might send them out to preach, and to have power to heal sicknesses and to cast out demons." Mark 3:13-15 (NKJV) We are told that Jesus went up into a mountain and called His disciples to Himself. There, He appointed them into the ministry. This suggests that every Minister called by God is on His appointment list and will, therefore, draw their income from Jesus. We can't call ourselves. He has to call us. "And no man takes this honor to himself, but he who is called by God, just as Aaron was." Hebrews 5:4 (NKJV) We cannot fake the call. He must call us. We cannot assume a call; He must call us. Just make sure that men did not call you, but that Jesus called you. If you call yourself, you will have to defend yourself and provide for yourself, but if He calls you, He will provide for you and defend you against all satanic attacks and circumstances. Make sure you have a call.
