“Landscaping is the first and most ancient profession of Man”. It is a transformative art that fuses natural beauty with human ingenuity. It encompasses the planning, design, and maintenance of outdoor spaces to create aesthetically pleasing and functional environments. Globally, landscaping has evolved beyond simple beautification to address ecological balance, enhance quality of life, and boost economic value. In Nigeria, the art of landscaping holds untapped potential, given the country’s rich natural resources and dynamic urbanization. This book aims to explore the concept of landscaping, in the light of my 27 years fieldwork experiences in Landscaping work, Environmental conservation and business management and its significance in the Nigerian context which has ramifications on a global scale, and giving illumination to the underlying purpose of this discourse. It also offer some hints of my perspectives on the existence of certain correlation between different Landscapes and spirituality in an introductory format.
