"Did you really have to write a book about the darkest chapter of your life?" my mother asked me. Sentenced to prison for smuggling marijuana, the author recounts his experiences inside and outside the prison. With courage and ingenuity, the musician tries to salvage what he can and finds a bookstore in Offenbach where he can work as a day release prisoner. On his free weekends, he goes on unauthorized trips with his band, risking his privileges in the open prison. A biographical narrative set against a contemporary backdrop. A unique true crime story from a rare perspective.
