Georg Philipp Telemann’s 12 fantaisies à traversière sans basse (12 Fantasias for Solo Flute without bass), TWV 40:2–13, was published in Hamburg in 1732–33. The current edition transposes the original flute score down by a major sixth, to render it more suitable for a clarinet, and the edition is transposed for a B flat clarinet.
