Lisa Alison Porter began writing poetry and short stories in high school. Through the years she kept a journal of all the special events in the lives of her family; Ryan, a junior in college, and her twin 14-year-old high schoolers, Scott and Zac. Her husband Jamie has shared in these wonderful events. Lisa is a graduate of Eastern Michigan University, majoring in dietetics. She is an active member of her church involved in numerous ministries and also has her own part-time Face Painting business, "Flutterby Faces." Somehow she finds the time to write.
