Rules & Regulations

QUALIFIED ENTRANT. Digital contest is open to residents of British Columbia. Employees of BentallGreenOak (Canada) LP, OPTrust Retail Inc., employees of all Village Green Shopping Centre retailers, employees of contest sponsors, as well as family and household members of same who reside at the same address are not eligible to participate. 

HOW TO ENTER. No Purchase Required. Entrants may enter the contest once by visiting the contest page on Village Green Shopping Centre’s official website and completing and submitting an entry form.

Entrant and Entry must meet all Contest Conditions as outlined herein. Entry and/or Entrant not meeting Contest Conditions will be disqualified and prize will be forfeited. Facsimiles, copies or entries received by mail will be disqualified. 

CONTEST PERIOD. The Contest Period runs from 8:30am on Friday, February 3, 2023 until the contest closes at 11:59pm on Friday, February 10, 2023. The draw will occur on Monday, February 13, 2023 and the winner will be notified by a Village Green Shopping Centre representative by phone or email provided by the entrant. Selected winner will be given 7 days from the time of notification to claim their prize by contacting Village Green Shopping Centre by phone (250) 545-3204 ext 223, email vgmmarketing@bentallkennedy.com. If prize is not claimed within 7 days, Village Green Shopping Centre reserves the right to re-draw from the contest database and a new winner will be selected.

DRAW PRIZE. The grand prize consists of 10, $50 Canadian Tire gift cards distributed to 10 separate winners.

Contest winners are required to present valid photo identification and complete a Winner’s Authorization form before prize is released. Failure to do so will result in disqualification of the winner, and prize will become the property of the Contest Producers.

By accepting the prize, the winner agrees to let Village Green Shopping Centre use their photo and name for marketing purposes in relation to this contest.

OTHER CONDITIONS. Contest Producers reserve the right to substitute any prize or portion thereof with one of equal or greater value. Prizes must be accepted as awarded. If the Winning Entrant has an option at any time during this contest, he/she agrees that their selected option is final and binding. In making the prize available to a Winning Entrant, the Contest Producers make no representations or warranties whatsoever, either expressed or implied, oral or written, in respect to any prize. 

By entering, all contestants release and agree to hold harmless, OPTrust Retail Inc., and BentallGreenOak (Canada) LP, any company affiliated with BentallGreenOak, any retailer or agency operating in Village Green Shopping Centre, any of their respective directors, officers, employees and agents of all such parties and any prize suppliers (collectively, the “RELEASED PARTIES”) from and against any and all liability for any injuries, damages to persons (including death), damages to personal property or any other loss whatsoever (collectively “LOSSES”) caused directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, by the contestant’s participation in the contest, including but not limited to Losses arising from: (a) the contestant’s acceptance, use or misuse of any prize awarded in the contest; (b) any act or omission made by any Released Party, third party (including any other Contestant) or the contestant himself / herself; (c) any latent or apparent defect or condition in any equipment used in the contest; (d) any previous medical condition of the contestant; (e) the administration of any first-aid, medical or emergency treatment or other services rendered to the contestant; and/or (f) the consumption of food or drink by the contestant. 

Contest Producers are not responsible for lost, misplaced, misdirected, illegible or damaged entries, or entries submitted after the contest deadline. Contest Producers may at their sole discretion alter, amend, suspend, or cancel this contest or amend the Contest Conditions at any time. Decisions of Contest Producers are final. Contest Producer has the right to publish the name, location and recent photograph of a winner without remuneration. All Entrants must meet and comply with all Contest Conditions. Failure to do so will result in immediate disqualification and prize forfeit.
