Contest Rules & Regulations
QUALIFIED ENTRANT. Contest is open to all residents of British Columbia. Employees of BentallGreenOak (Canada) LP, OPTrust Retail Inc., employees of all Village Green Shopping Centre retailers, employees of contest sponsors, as well as family and household members of same who reside at the same address are not eligible to participate.
HOW TO ENTER. No Purchase Required. Entrants may enter the contest one time per 7-day period starting October 1 by nominating a retail store at Village Green Shopping Centre. Entrants must complete all contest entry fields deemed mandatory in order to qualify to win.
Each calendar month one $100 Village Green Shopping Centre Gift Card will be randomly awarded to an entrant who nominated a retail store. Winners will be contacted by the Village Green Administration Office to confirm eligibility.
By entering the contest, entrants agree to allow their first name, mention of the nominated store and associated comment to be listed publicly on the contest page.
Entrant and Entry must meet all Contest Conditions as outlined herein. Entry and/or Entrant not meeting Contest Conditions will be disqualified and prize will be forfeited. Facsimiles, copies or entries received by mail will be disqualified.
CONTEST PERIOD. The Contest Period runs from 9:30am on Friday, October 1, 2021 until the contest closes at 5:00pm on or after Tuesday, November 30, 2021 or on such other date and time as posted by the Contest Producers.
CONTEST PRIZE. There will be one $100 prize of a Village Green Shopping Centre gift card awarded to “the winner” or “winners” each calendar month.
In addition, one $100 Village Green Gift Card will also be randomly awarded to one of the nominated Village Green Shopping Centre retail stores each month throughout the contest duration.
Contest winner is responsible for collection of their prize and will be required to present valid photo identification and complete a Winner’s Authorization form before prize is released. Failure to do so will result in disqualification of the winner, and prize will become the property of the Contest Producers.
OTHER CONDITIONS. All non-winning, disqualified and winning entries will become the property of the Contest Producers. Contest Producers reserve the right to substitute any prize or portion thereof with one of equal or greater value. Prizes must be accepted as awarded. In making the prize available to a Winning Entrant, the Contest Producers make no representations or warranties whatsoever, either expressed or implied, oral or written, in respect to any prize.
By entering, all contestants release and agree to hold harmless, OPTrust Retail Inc., and BentallGreenOak (Canada) LP, any company affiliated with BentallGreenOak (Canada) LP, any retailer or agency operating in Village Green Shopping Centre, any of their respective directors, officers, employees and agents of all such parties and any prize suppliers (collectively, the “RELEASED PARTIES”) from and against any and all liability for any injuries, damages to persons (including death), damages to personal property or any other loss whatsoever (collectively “LOSSES”) caused directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, by the contestant’s participation in the contest, including but not limited to Losses arising from: (a) the contestant’s acceptance, use or misuse of any prize awarded in the contest; (b) any act or omission made by any Released Party, third party (including any other Contestant) or the contestant himself / herself; (c) any latent or apparent defect or condition in any equipment used in the contest; (d) any previous medical condition of the contestant; (e) the administration of any first-aid, medical or emergency treatment or other services rendered to the contestant; and/or (f) the consumption of food or drink by the contestant.
Contest Producers are not responsible for lost, misplaced, misdirected, illegible or damaged entries, or entries submitted after the contest deadline. Contest Producers may at their sole discretion alter, amend, suspend, or cancel this contest or amend the Contest Conditions at any time. Decisions of Contest Producers are final. Contest Producer has the right to publish the name, location and recent photograph of a winner without remuneration. All Entrants must meet and comply with all Contest Conditions. Failure to do so will result in immediate disqualification and prize forfeit.
