Rules & Regulations

QUALIFIED ENTRANT. Contest is open to all residents of British Columbia. Employees of BentallGreenOak (Canada) LP, OPTrust Retail Inc., employees of all Village Green Shopping Centre retailers, employees of contest sponsors, as well as family and household members of same who reside at the same address are not eligible to participate.

HOW TO ENTER. No Purchase Required. E-Club members will receive 3 weekly emails (see below) containing the contest link and a one-time use weekly code word to the email address that was used to sign up for membership. Code words can only be used one time during the period in which it is valid. Participants must be a current Village Green Shopping Centre e-Club member.

Code Word 1 – Email delivered December 1, 2025 and is valid until midnight, December 4, 2025

Code Word 2 – Email delivered December 8, 2025 and is valid until midnight, December 11, 2025

Code Word 3 – Email delivered December 15, 2025 and is valid until midnight, December 18, 2025

Every week a new database of names will be collected and previous entries will be discarded.

Entrant and Entry must meet all Contest Conditions as outlined herein. Entry and/or Entrant not meeting Contest Conditions will be disqualified and prize will be forfeited. Facsimiles, copies or entries received by mail will be disqualified.

CONTEST PERIOD. The overall Contest Period runs from 12:00am PST on Monday, December 1, 2025 until the contest closes at 11:59pm PST on Thursday, December 18, 2025 or on such other date and time as posted by the Contest Producers.

PRIZING.

A total of three $200 Village Green Shopping Centre Gift Cards will be awarded. One per week of the contest.

RANDOM DRAW: Random draws will be held weekly on the Monday following the close date for each weekly contest. Draw time will be 11:00 AM PST in Vernon, BC from all Entries received during the Contest Period.

Odds of winning a Prize depend on the total number of Entries received during the Contest Period.

Contest winner is responsible for collection of their prize and will be required to present valid photo identification and complete a Winner’s Authorization form before prize is released. Failure to do so will result in disqualification of the winner, and prize will become the property of the Contest Producers.

ELIGIBILITY. To enter, you must (a) be a legal Canadian resident; (b) residing in British Columbia during the Contest Period and when partaking in the Prize; and (c) have reached the age of majority at the time of entry. You are not eligible if you are an employee, officer, director, agent or representative of Sponsor, its affiliates (including parent, sister, related and subsidiary companies), or other party in any way involved in the development or administration of this Contest, including advertising, promotional or public relations agencies, suppliers of materials or services related to the Contest, or a member of the immediate family (spouse, including common law, parent, sibling or child, regardless of where they reside) or household member of any such employee, officer, director, agent or representative. Groups, associations, and entities cannot participate.

WINNER CONFIRMATION: Winners will be contacted by email and/or telephone within five (5) business days of date of winning play. To be confirmed a winner, selected entrant must: (a) respond to the email and/or telephone notification within five (5) business days of it being sent; (b) correctly answer, without assistance of any kind, a time-limited, mathematical skill-testing question; (c) be in full compliance with these Official Contest Rules, and if required by Sponsor, provide proof of identity; and (d) provide her or her complete mailing address. Proof of identity, including proof that selected entrant is the authorized account holder of the email address associated with the selected Entry, must be provided upon request. If any selected entrant cannot be contacted and confirmed a winner as above, at Sponsor’s sole and absolute discretion, his/her entitlement to receive a prize may be forfeited, and Prize may be awarded to an alternate eligible entrant. Sponsor will not be responsible for failed attempts to contact a selected entrant.

OTHER CONDITIONS. All non-winning, disqualified and winning entries will become the property of the Contest Producers. Contest Producers reserve the right to substitute any prize or portion thereof with one of equal or greater value. Prizes must be accepted as awarded. In making the prize available to a Winning Entrant, the Contest Producers make no representations or warranties whatsoever, either expressed or implied, oral or written, in respect to any prize.

By entering, all contestants release and agree to hold harmless, OPTrust Retail Inc., and BentallGreenOak (Canada) LP, any company affiliated with BentallGreenOak (Canada) LP, any retailer or agency operating in Village Green Shopping Centre, any of their respective directors, officers, employees and agents of all such parties and any prize suppliers, including but not limited to, advertising and promotional agencies (collectively, the “RELEASED PARTIES”) from and against any and all liability for any injuries, damages to persons (including death), damages to personal property or any other loss whatsoever (collectively “LOSSES”) caused directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, by the contestant’s participation in the contest, including but not limited to Losses arising from: (a) the contestant’s acceptance, use or misuse of any prize awarded in the contest; (b) any act or omission made by any Released Party, third party (including any other Contestant) or the contestant himself / herself; (c) any latent or apparent defect or condition in any equipment used in the contest; (d) any previous medical condition of the contestant; (e) the administration of any first-aid, medical or emergency treatment or other services rendered to the contestant; and/or (f) the consumption of food or drink by the contestant.

Contest Producers are not responsible for lost, misplaced, misdirected, illegible or damaged entries, or entries submitted after the contest deadline. Contest Producers may at their sole discretion alter, amend, suspend, or cancel this contest or amend the Contest Conditions at any time. Decisions of Contest Producers are final. Contest Producer has the right to publish the name, location and recent photograph of a winner without remuneration. All Entrants must meet and comply with all Contest Conditions. Failure to do so will result in immediate disqualification and prize forfeit.
