QUALIFIED ENTRANT

The Memory Bank and its associated contesting and rewards program is open to all residents of British Columbia who have reached the age of majority at the time of entry. Employees, officers, directors, agents, and representatives of BentallGreenOak (Canada) LP, OPTrust Retail Inc., all Village Green Shopping Centre retailers, contest sponsors, and affiliated advertising or promotional agencies, as well as the immediate family members (spouse, parent, sibling, or child) or persons residing at the same address as such individuals, are not eligible to participate.

CONTEST and MEMORY BANK PERIODS

  • Face-off Contest: The Contest begins at 12:00 a.m. PST on Tuesday, June 3, 2025 and ends at 11:59 p.m. PST on Monday, June 30, 2025, or on such other date and time as may be posted by the Contest Producers.
  • Finish the Lyric: The Contest begins at 12:00 a.m. PST on Wednesday, July 2, 2025 and ends at 11:59 p.m. PST on Wednesday, July 30, 2025, or on such other date and time as may be posted by the Contest Producers.
  • Movie Match-Up: The Contest begins at 12:00 a.m. PST on Friday, August 1, 2025 and ends at 11:59 p.m. PST on Saturday, August 30, 2025, or on such other date and time as may be posted by the Contest Producers.
  • Memory Bank Rewards Program begins at 12:00 a.m. PST on Tuesday, June 3, 2025 and ends at 11:59 p.m. PST on Sunday, September 7, 2025, or on such other date and time as may be posted by the Contest Producers.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE

No Purchase Necessary. Eligible entrants may participate by using the online platform at www.villagegreencentre.com during the Program Period. Participation for all contests and programs can only be done through a registered Memory Bank account.

Entries must meet all contest conditions as outlined herein. Incomplete, illegible, reproduced, or late entries will be disqualified. Entries submitted via email, mail or facsimile will not be accepted.

    • Face-off Contest: Enter online through the Memory Bank platform located at villagegreencentre.com One (1) entry per calendar day person is allowed. With each entry the participant will receive one entry for a chance to win a $250 Village Green Gift Card as well as one token for the participant’s associated Memory Bank account. No Purchase Necessary. 
    • Finish the Lyric: Enter online through the Memory Bank platform located at villagegreencentre.com One (1) entry per calendar day person is allowed. With each entry the participant will receive one entry for a chance to win a $250 Village Green Gift Card as well as one token for the participant’s associated Memory Bank account. No Purchase Necessary. 
    • Movie Match-Up: Enter online through the Memory Bank platform located at villagegreencentre.com One (1) entry per calendar day person is allowed. With each entry the participant will receive one entry for a chance to win a $250 Village Green Gift Card as well as one token for the participant’s associated Memory Bank account. No Purchase Necessary. 
    • Memory Bank Rewards Program: Each participant must create an online account (only one email account per person is permitted) at villagegreencentre.com. With each activity completed within the Memory Bank program, the user will receive a pre-determined amount of tokens that can be used to reserve and redeem various promotional merchandise and items available in the Memory Bank Rewards Vault. No Purchase Necessary. 
    • Take a Selfie: In order to qualify for tokens the selfie that is uploaded must have been taken at the Decade Carousel at Village Green Shopping Centre during the qualification period. Submissions not adhering to this criteria will be nullified and any tokens acquired will be removed from the account. No Purchase Necessary. 
    • Share a Memory: Memories submitted must relate to Village Green Shopping Centre in order to qualify for tokens. Submissions not adhering to this criteria will be nullified and any tokens acquired will be removed from the account. No Purchase Necessary. 
    • Village Green Gift Card Gift with Purchase: From June 10, 2025 to August 30, 2025 a purchase of a minimum of a $50 Village Green Gift Card will earn 10 tokens into the purchaser’s Memory Bank account. Only one allowed per person. Multiple purchases of gift cards or purchases exceeding $50 will not result in additional tokens. We have the right to review and validate uploaded receipts for qualification.

PRIZING

Total approximate retail value of all contest prizing is $2,250 CAD, allocated as follows:

  • Face-off Contest: One (1) $250 Village Green Shopping Centre shopping spree (awarded in Village Green Shopping Centre gift cards)
  • Finish the Lyric: One (1) $250 Village Green Shopping Centre shopping spree (awarded in Village Green Shopping Centre gift cards)
  • Movie Match-Up: One (1) $250 Village Green Shopping Centre shopping spree (awarded in Village Green Shopping Centre gift cards)

Odds of winning a contest prize depend on the number of eligible entries received during the Contest Period. No cash value and must be accepted as awarded.

All contest winners will be required to present valid government-issued photo identification and complete a Winner’s Authorization form prior to prize release. Failure to comply will result in disqualification and forfeiture of the prize.

WINNER CONFIRMATION

Winners will be contacted via email and/or telephone within five (5) business days of the draw. In order to be declared a winner, the selected entrant must:
(a) respond to the notification within five (5) business days;
(b) correctly answer a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question without assistance;
(c) provide valid photo identification upon request;
(d) if required by Sponsor, provide proof of identity, complete mailing address;
(e) proof of identity, including that selected entrant is the authorized account holder of the email address associated with the selected;
(f) entry, must be provided upon request: and
(g) comply fully with the contest rules

If any selected entrant cannot be contacted and confirmed a winner as above, at Sponsor’s sole and absolute discretion, his/her entitlement to receive a prize may be forfeited, and Prize may be awarded to an alternate eligible entrant. Sponsor will not be responsible for failed attempts to contact a selected entrant. 

MEMORY BANK REWARDS & REDEMPTION

  • Participants may redeem Virtual Memory Tokens for various promotional merchandise and items available in the Memory Bank Rewards Vault, subject to availability and while supplies last.

  • Rewards are not contest prizes, have no cash value, and are offered solely as a promotional incentive based on participant engagement.
  • Types and quantities of items available for redemption may vary at the discretion of the Contest Producers and may be substituted or discontinued without notice.
  • Redemption requires the participant to have collected the required number of Virtual Memory Tokens. Redemption does not involve chance and is not subject to odds.
  • Once a reward is reserved it cannot be switched or released.
  • Ballots for a Chance to Win One (1) of Three (3) Memory Bank Surprise Mega Vault Packages: When a participant redeems ten (10) tokens for a five (5) pack of ballots, they will receive five (5) ballots for a chance to win one (1) of the three (3) prize packages valued at five-hundred dollars ($500). Ballots will be given to the account holder in-centre at the Rewards Vault pop-up on October 4, 2025. Odds of winning a contest prize depend on the number of eligible entries received during the Contest Period. Recipients must complete and deposit ballots in the ballot box associated with their chosen prize package for a chance to win it. Exact details of the components of the packages will be released October 4, 2025. The ballots are only provided for a chance to win. A ballot does not guarantee a win. In order to collect rewards from the Memory Bank Rewards Program, each participant will be required to:

  1. Reserve their chosen rewards through in their Memory Bank online account by 11:59PM PST on Sunday, September 7, 2025
  2. Attend in person and present valid government-issued photo identification at Village Green Shopping Centre on Saturday, October 4, 2025 between the hours of 10:00am and 4:00pm PST.
  3. Present the associated Memory Bank account on a mobile device matching the name of the photo ID presented and as indicated above. Only one account is allowed per person. Multiple accounts belonging to the same person under different email addresses will be terminated.
  4. Failure to comply will result in disqualification and forfeiture of the rewards associated with the account.

ELIGIBILITY

To enter and be eligible to win a prize or redeem awards, an individual must:
 (a) be a legal resident of Canada;
 (b) reside in British Columbia during the Contest Period;
 (c) have reached the age of majority in British Columbia; and
 (d) comply with all contest conditions.

The contest is not open to corporations, partnerships, associations, or other groups.

REWARD REDEMPTION TERMS

Rewards offered through the Memory Bank Rewards Vault are promotional in nature and available for redemption based on Virtual Memory Token accumulation.

Redemption is subject to:

  • Availability and item quantities as determined by the Contest Producers
  • Participant’s token balance and eligibility
  • The terms of use and expiration timelines (if applicable)
  • The Contest Producers make no guarantees as to the availability or continuity of specific items. All reward selections are final and non-transferable. No cash substitutions or exchanges will be permitted. Contest Producers reserve the right to limit quantities per participant.

GENERAL CONDITIONS

All entries become the property of the Contest Producers and will not be returned.
Contest Producers reserve the right, in their sole discretion, to cancel, suspend, or modify this contest or the rules at any time for any reason without notice, including but not limited to fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond their reasonable control.

By entering the contest, all participants agree to release and hold harmless OPTrust Retail Inc., BentallGreenOak (Canada) LP, their respective affiliates, agents, contractors, representatives, employees, and partners (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from any and all liability for any injuries, losses, or damages of any kind arising from or in connection with participation in the contest, use or misuse of any prize or reward, or any act or omission related to the contest.

Contest Producers may use the name, location, and photograph of winners for promotional purposes without additional compensation, except where prohibited by law.

Entrant and Entry must meet all Contest Conditions as outlined herein. Entry and/or Entrant not meeting Contest Conditions will be disqualified and prize will be forfeited. Facsimiles, copies or entries received by mail will be disqualified.

Contest winner is responsible for collection of their prize and will be required to present valid photo identification and complete a Winner’s Authorization form before prize is released. Failure to do so will result in disqualification of the winner, and prize will become the property of the Contest Producers.

 

OTHER CONDITIONS. All non-winning, disqualified and winning entries will become the property of the Contest Producers. Contest Producers reserve the right to substitute any prize or portion thereof with one of equal or greater value. Prizes must be accepted as awarded. In making the prize available to a Winning Entrant, the Contest Producers make no representations or warranties whatsoever, either expressed or implied, oral or written, in respect to any prize.

By entering, all contestants release and agree to hold harmless, OPTrust Retail Inc., and BentallGreenOak (Canada) LP, any company affiliated with BentallGreenOak (Canada) LP, any retailer or agency operating in Village Green Shopping Centre, any of their respective directors, officers, employees and agents of all such parties and any prize suppliers, including but not limited to, advertising and promotional agencies (collectively, the “RELEASED PARTIES”) from and against any and all liability for any injuries, damages to persons (including death), damages to personal property or any other loss whatsoever (collectively “LOSSES”) caused directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, by the contestant’s participation in the contest, including but not limited to Losses arising from: (a) the contestant’s acceptance, use or misuse of any prize awarded in the contest; (b) any act or omission made by any Released Party, third party (including any other Contestant) or the contestant himself / herself; (c) any latent or apparent defect or condition in any equipment used in the contest; (d) any previous medical condition of the contestant; (e) the administration of any first-aid, medical or emergency treatment or other services rendered to the contestant; and/or (f) the consumption of food or drink by the contestant.

 

Contest Producers are not responsible for lost, misplaced, misdirected, illegible or damaged entries, or entries submitted after the contest deadline. Contest Producers may at their sole discretion alter, amend, suspend, or cancel this contest or amend the Contest Conditions at any time. Decisions of Contest Producers are final. Contest Producer has the right to publish the name, location and recent photograph of a winner without remuneration. All Entrants must meet and comply with all Contest Conditions. Failure to do so will result in immediate disqualification and prize forfeit.
